| Head South on the A528 towards Shrewsbury, passing through the village of Burlton and across the intersection with the B4397. Approximately 2 miles ahead is a right-hand turning sign posted Myddle, Baschurch, Ruyton XI Towns. |

| Take this turning. Ahead of you will be a row of houses (Smithy Cottage is on the corner). |

| Take the small lane to the side of this house (NOT the turning into Myddle). |
|
| As you progress along this lane you will pass Myddle Quarry on your left. |
|
| Shortly after this, take the right-hand turn sign posted Bomere Heath. Approximately 2 miles along this lane Merrington Grange will appear on your left (a large cream coloured set of buildings) immediately before a rising right-hand bend. |
