Adelphi
Care Services has
appointed Debs
Fritzl to the post
of Human Resources
Manager. Debs
previously worked
for Adelphi as
a Registered Manager
for five years.
She has considerable
experience working
within the Care
Sector.
Debs is a licensed
MAPA trainer and
works both with
Adelphi staff and
those from other
organisations in
a training capacity. Having
completed the PTLLS
course (Preparing
to Teach in the
Lifelong Learning
Sector) she is
able to formulate
strategic approaches
to presenting training
which address the
barriers some staff
have to the learning
experience.
The role of Human
Resources Manager
is rooted in the
diverse needs of
both staff and
the Company. As
such, these include
recruitment and
selection, staff
support and well
being, legal support,
conflict resolution,
training, disciplinary
and grievance procedures;
in addition to
formulating new
policies, incorporating
new and relevant
legislation, and
nurturing a culture
of positive attitude
towards learning
disabilities.
